Yesterday we reported that AT&T may be planning to charge useres to use FaceTime over 3G/4G. Sprint has now taken this opportunity to tell the Wall Street Journal that it will not charge for FaceTime over its networks. “We are committed to our unlimited data and that means not charging for data consumption based on the application,” a spokeswoman said.
Sprint is the only carrier to still offer unlimited data in the United States and recently launched its 4G LTE network in select cities.
It remains to be seen if Verizon will charge for FaceTime over cellular.
