Since the iPod, Apple has had a pretty strong hold on the MP3 player market. Every company has tried, but none have caught on like Apple. Sony, will now take another shot at it. The company has announced the Android powered Walkman F800. The F800 has a 3.5 touchscreen and ships with Android 4.0. It has complete access to the Google Play store, as well. The device is just 8.9mm thick and has a processor that is fast enough for “speedy responses,” according to Sony. You should receive 4.5 hours of video playback on a charge or 20 hours of audio.
The device will be available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. Sony has not announced pricing or availability yet.
