Samsung
Not days ago, the rumors were lining up behind a magnificent Samsung Galaxy S III launch in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress. Now, it appears there are quite a few reputable sources suggesting that we won’t see the Galaxy S III at MWC. According to sources friendly with The Verge, the Galaxy S III will still be released “before summer.”
One possible reason— Samsung’s marketing gurus aren’t happy about another months-long wait in between the international and American releases of the device. To push them closer together, Samsung’s moving back the announcement.
Along with The Verge, a popular and reputable German blog BestBoyZ made note that “Samsung will very likely not introduce the Galaxy S III at MWC. Currently, there are two problems with the Galaxy S II’s successor. At a special event that will take place another date, the phone will be presented.”
Anyone’s hearts just sink?
