When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S III, it said that the device would be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variations. The first two of those we have seen and are now available, the third is still vaporware at this point. Samsung confirmed today, however, that it is still planning on releasing a 64GB Galaxy S III during the second half of the year. This comes despite rumors that retailers and carriers have cancelled their order for the 64GB device.
“The 64GB model of the GALAXY S III will be available during the second half of this year. The market availability and timing may vary and will be determined at the time of release,” AndroidCentral learned from a Samsung representative.
Given that it already is the second half of the year, we could see a 64GB Galaxy S III any day now.
