Review: Boss Tech Products Touchscreen Gloves

Very rarely do we stray from mobile technology products, but I thought these deserved some attention. Boss Tech Products’ Touchscreen Gloves are amazing for the avid smartphone user in winter climates. Not much of a problem here in Florida, but quite handy for those below living in sub-40 degree temperatures.

Available in numerous different two-toned colors, the Touchscreen Gloves are a fad in the waiting. Normally when things get too chilly, people revert to the thickest gloves you can find. Fear not; Boss Tech’s gloves are made out of tightly-woven cashmere, which provides for sufficient temperature regulation. My hands always stay warm while wearing them, and I nearly started sweating at some points!

They are very snug around the hands, assured to not come off by accident. The elastic band around the wrist is extremely comfortable, while also being tight enough to lock-in all heat. Being made of cashmere makes the gloves so comfortable that I constantly forget I’m wearing them.

The tips of the fingers are what makes these unique. The tips for the thumb, index finger, and middle finger are all capacitive–made out of a cashmere/spandex mix. These are 100% washable, and are one-size-fits-most. The gloves are ambidextrous, meaning each gloves works on either hand.

While using the gloves they provided ample warmth and comfort for my hands. Seriously, they were too warm to wear inside. I’ve only been able to take advantage of them 3 times this winter, and it wasn’t even that cold. Though when I did get to use them, they worked perfectly. I was able to use my phone like normal with the gloves on, while still preventing frostbite.

They are on the thicker side though–so much so that when you are holding your phone, you can’t tell you are holding it. But, they are so darn comfortable. Taking them off is sort of a hassle. They are clingy and slippery, which usually doesn’t bode well when you are getting overheated. However, the trade-off is an easy one to make–no more taking off gloves in frigid cold weather just to use my phone for me!

The Boss Tech Products Touchscreen Gloves are a cheap, but extremely efficient, way to go during the colder months. With the ever expanding touchscreen market, everyone is going to be needing gloves with capacitive fingertips. Why not go with these, which give you the thermal insulation of more expensive gloves along with the ability to use your touchscreen device.
