Nokia and Microsoft to Launch Windows Phone 8 at September 5th Event

Nokia and Microsoft are set to unveil their next generation device and operating system for the Windows Phone platform. Windows Phone 8 and an accompanying Nokia Lumia device will be announced at 9:30am on September 5th in New York City in front of members of the press. Of course, as seen in the invitation above, the tiny live tile sizes will be available on this new update.

Nokia’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing just publicly called out Samsung, the current industry top dog next to Apple, with a “take note” message on Twitter.

The next Lumia phone is rumored to have a 4.3-inch display and Qualcomm dual-core processor.
