Bypassing the need for an earnings call, Motorola Mobility has announced its fourth quarter sales and profit figures for 2011. The mobile device manufacturer, which is set to be acquired by Google pending European regulatory approval, reported net revenues of $2.5B during Q4’11, up 5% compared to Q4’10. However, they also reported an operating loss of $70M, compared to an operating profit of $72M last year. Despite this, CEO Sanjay Jha remains optimistic due to positive customer response to the Droid RAZR.
