A new Bluetooth certification page has spoiled a possible new Motorola phone coming to AT&T/Rogers/Telus supporting, “GSM Qual band ( 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 ), GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA UMTS band I, II, V ( 2100 / 1900 / 850 ) and HSDPA technology.” AT&T users who feel like they’ve gotten the short end of the stick in terms of Android phones should be happy to see a Motorola Droid not headed to Verizon. The phone itself looks mid-performance, so don’t expect a Motorola Shadow equivalent. According to Bluetooth.org’s SIG, “Key features include WiFi 802.11b/g, USB 2.0, Bluetooth technology 2.0 + EDR and GPS / AGPS.” And according to the post, this phone will be available in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. The phone’s true codename is XT502, but Greco is a fair estimate at a name, because the picture on the website is titled Greco. We’ll see how things pan out, but AT&T Android fans… go ahead and get your hopes up! Picture below.
