LG Optimus Vu Announced, Will Compete with Galaxy Note in Korea

LG’s Optimus Vu was rumored not long ago for Korea’s SK Telecom. Now, LG’s coming out officially with some pictures and specifications for the phone-tablet hybrid. An unusual device, the Optimus Vu includes the world’s first 4:3 display on an Android device. LG says the 4:3 aspect ratio will offer users a prime reading and browsing experience, since eBooks, paper scans, and websites will be allowed more horizontal space on the display.
The device itself is no slouch. It’s got a high-resolution 5-inch IPS display that boasts 650 nits for optimal brightness. Inside, there’s a 2080 mAh battery powering Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor (clocked at 1.5 GHz). It seems there’s LTE included as well! Check out the rest of the specs below:
