LG’s Optimus Vu was rumored not long ago for Korea’s SK Telecom. Now, LG’s coming out officially with some pictures and specifications for the phone-tablet hybrid. An unusual device, the Optimus Vu includes the world’s first 4:3 display on an Android device. LG says the 4:3 aspect ratio will offer users a prime reading and browsing experience, since eBooks, paper scans, and websites will be allowed more horizontal space on the display.

The device itself is no slouch. It’s got a high-resolution 5-inch IPS display that boasts 650 nits for optimal brightness. Inside, there’s a 2080 mAh battery powering Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor (clocked at 1.5 GHz). It seems there’s LTE included as well! Check out the rest of the specs below:

- Dimensions: 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5mm / Weight: 168 g
