LG Optimus G Coming to AT&T and Sprint — Quad-Core, LTE, 2GB RAM

LG announced today that their flagship Optimus G will be coming to AT&T and Sprint. Both devices will feature Qualcomm’s brand new 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, which sports an upgraded CPU as well as GPU over its predecessor. The device is well-specced with 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch IPS True HD display, a 2100 mAh battery, LTE support, and 32GB of internal storage. The AT&T version will feature an 8-megapixel camera, while the Sprint version will feature a 13-megapixel one. The Optimus G runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with LG’s skin overlay.

    Looks pretty nice. Why the two different cameras? Also, what happened to the One X+ article?

    • Ha! Someone noticed! We recently moved servers and lost that article in the shuffle. I will republish it ASAP.

      Not sure why each carrier has a different camera. I wish both were getting the 13-MP one.

      I should have said that the stats look pretty nice. Most LG phones just look strange to me.
