The LG G3 has officially been unveiled, and the waiting game for folks outside of the devices homeland has begun. If Big Red is your carrier of choice, you’ll be pleased to know that a new leak has the LG G3 tipped for a July release.
Today’s leak comes from leaker extraordinaire, @evleaks and it’s about as simple as it gets. The leaker has received a tip showing sales material for Verizon on the LG G3. As you can see, it says the LG G3 pre-orders kick off of July 10th with a rollout coming on July 17th. This is good news for those on Verizon’s network looking to get one of the snappiest smartphones of the year.
In case you’ve been out of the loop, the LG G3 will sport a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution (2560 x 1440), a Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. You’ll get a 13MP front-facing camera, a 3000mAh battery, and a slew of LG-centric features to go along with Android KitKat 4.4.
While nothing is set in stone and this is just a ‘tip’ send to @ev, the timeline is right in line with what we expected and other carriers should follow suit. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about the LG G3’s worldwide plans for global domination.
