You knew that this was going to happen.  Thanks to Samsung and Apple, now everyone has to have their own voice assistant.  LG has announced that they are rolling out their own voice assistant called Quick Voice, which should debut next month in Korea on the LG Vu and LG Optimus LTE 2.  Hopefully, LG will also update those devices to Android 4.0 as well.  Reportedly, users will be able to use Quick Voice to launch apps, schedule appointments, conduct internet searches, make calls, and other basic functions.  Notwithstanding Voice Actions and other voice apps, it is going to be interesting to see if Google follows this trend and develops a universal Android voice assistant.
