Amazon may be looking to update their highly-demanded Kindle Fire tablet next month, according to China Times. The company has supposedly already ordered two million units from manufacturer Quanta, and it’s rumored that Amazon will make the announcement on July 31st. The new Kindle Fire 2 purportedly has a metallic frame, faster processor, and higher resolution screen. Amazon has opted to stick with the seven inch display size. Of course, a Kindle Fire 2 will have to compete head-to-head with Google and ASUS’ brand new Nexus 7 tablet.
