iPad Mini Display Leaked, Confirms 7.85-Inch Form Factor

Rumors of the iPad Mini have been swirling around for a long time now, but as the rumored September 12th announcement date nears, they are starting to pick up steam. Gizmodo has obtained an image of what it believes to be the iPad Mini’s display. It comes in at 7.85-inches, just as previous reports claimed.
One thing to note is that the display does not appear to be 4:3 like the current iPad. There also isn’t a very big bezel around the sides, which leads us to believe that the iPad Mini will have a taller display, like the supposed iPhone 5 leaks.
“Our source maintains he’s received nothing but authentic parts from what he says is a completely reputable Chinese supply,” Gizmodo said.
So, what do you think? Would you prefer a 4:3 display or something taller rather than wider?

Personally, it doesn’t matter to me exactly what size it is,
as long as it can be held in one hand and still used for the same functions as
the full sized iPad. I first heard about the iPad Mini from a coworker at Dish
and I became incredibly interested. Right now, with football season finally
here, I would love to have an easy to carry iPad that I can leave my house
with, watch live TV on with the Dish Remote Access app, and not have to worry
about it falling out of my hands. I think that this would be an incredible
product by Apple and I can’t wait to hear something from them next month!
