iOS 6 Beta 4 Removes YouTube App

We just told you about Apple releasing iOS 6 beta four and while fixing some bugs and such, the build also removes one app: YouTube. 9to5Mac has discovered that the latest iOS 6 beta build does not include the standard YouTube app that has come on every iPhone since its launch.
While many people speculated that this is related to the ongoing war between Google and Apple, it does not appear to be. “Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store,” Apple said in a statement.
There’s no word on a release for the YouTube app, though I’d expect it to be available by the time iOS 6 is released to the masses.
