HTC Revenue Continues To Fall As Q3 2012 Results Are Released

HTC’s past year has not been impressive by any means and that didn’t change in Q3 of 2012. The company today released its Q3 earnings and it marks the fourth consecutive quarter that the company’s earnings have fallen. For Q3 2012, HTC made a net profit of $133.2 million with a revenue of $2.4 billion. The $133.2 million net profit is down from $247 million in Q2 2012. All of these numbers are down greatly from Q3 2011′s net profit of $636.5 million and revenue of $4.64 billion.

HTC has released several high-profile devices this year, but they aren’t catching on with the consumer the same way Samsung devices are. It’s unclear what causes the disconnect between HTC and the consumer.

As HTC continues to slide, do you think it can regain control of the Android market?
