The HTC M8 Ace is the curvy plastic sibling of the recently released HTC One M8, and it’s said to be cheaper than its big brother. People are intrigued by the device, and today a new leak out of China has it set for release sooner than later.
The new leak comes from ifanr, and has the HTC M8 Ace Vogue edition set to drop on June 3rd. We’re not sure if the “Vogue” name implies a local variant of the Ace or another edition of the device as smartphone manufacturers love their variants these days.
As for the specs, the leak mentions a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 801 which is right in line with everything we’ve heard about the handset to this point. The M8 Ace will pack a punch, but still manage to be cheaper than the One M8 as it will be made out of plastic. That fancy Duo-Camera has also been replaced by a 13MP rear camera.
The HTC M8 Ace Vogue edition is set to go live in China next week, and the price is nice as it comes out to around $481. There’s been no word on when the M8 Ace may go global, but we expect to hear something official in the next few weeks.
