HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus Drops to $349 on Google Play

Another news item that was lost in the I/O shuffle is the further price drop of the Galaxy Nexus. Google has dropped the price of the GSM HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus to just $349 from the Play Store. This is down from $399. It’s price is getting incredibly close to what some devices cost on-contract. The Galaxy Nexus will also be the first to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Are you going to pull the trigger? I’m very, very close to.

That’s crazy. The only thing about this phone is that the specs are only a little better than my Atrix but official 4.1 would certainly be nice. I was actually debating the SGSIII this weekend but may have to delay the decision.

If only Google hadn’t dropped the ball and opened this up to everyone at first, i would’ve jumped on it.
