Supposedly, specs of Google’s next greatest thing, the “Nexus 7” tablet, have been leaked ahead of its anticipated unveiling at Google I/O conference.  Gizmodo Australia is reporting that the Nexus 7 tablet will feature Android Jelly Bean, a 1.3Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, GeForce 12-core GPU, 7-inch display, 1GB of RAM, NFC with Google Wallet, Android Beam, and a battery life of approximately 9 hours.  The device, built by ASUS, will be available in two different models:  an 8GB version for $199 and a 16GB model for $249. The “training document” that Gizmodo Australia claims that they were able to get their hands on also state that this will be the first device to run Jelly Bean and that Google will be providing the updates from this point forward.  Maybe this is Google’s way of trying to control the so called “fragmentation” problem.
