Google will launch the Nexus 7 tablet in July with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on-board, says the rumor mill. New benchmarks for a “Nexus 7″ device have appeared at Power Board today, showing off a Tegra 3 device with a 768 x 1280 display and model name “Nexus 7.” The tablet’s name makes sense considering its rumored 7-inch display. What’s most exciting, however, is that Android 4.1 is ready to go. The updated version of Android will be titled “Jelly Bean” according to Google.
It’s entirely possible that we’ll see an announcement of this device at Google I/O on June 27th. It’s expected to go on sale in July, with projections for sales figures set at 2+ million devices. The price point, set to compete with the likes of the Kindle Fire, will be between $199.99 and $249.99 say internal sources.

What features will Jelly Bean have on board I wonder?
That’s a good question. Not too sure at the moment, but the version number 4.1 indicates that it will be a minor update over Ice Cream Sandwich.
It will have a non beta version of chrome as the stock browser.
That would make sense. Then perhaps it could run ChromeOS certified webapps… Interesting.
TAKE MY MONEY!!!
