Google+ “Hangs out” With New Nexus 7?

Hangouts

On May 6, Briefmobile announced that Google+ Babel (such a great name) would arrive as Google+ Hangouts. Then on May 10, we posted what may be the new generation Nexus 7 specifications. It now seems that Google may have combined the two in one video!

Google was way ahead of the crowd with its Google+ Talk, but quickly fell behind BlackBerry’s BBM and the new Facebook Home. Google+ Hangouts looks to unify all of Google’s pieces, such as Google Talk, Gmail and Google+ Messenger and video chat into one easy to use application. There are definitely a few “growing pains,” but Google seems determined to keep Hangouts and I think will quickly improve the application.

In the following video to promote Google+ Hangouts, there appears to be a Nexus 7 tablet with a blue notifications light…the Nexus 7 is the only Nexus product currently without a notifications light. We cannot prove anything at this point, but rumors are fun as well!

Let us know in the comments what you think about Google+ Hangouts and the Nexus 7 in the video.

A new Nexus 7 would be nice. I want one, but I hoping for an upgrade first.
