Google Halts Nexus 7 Sales, Will Resume on Sunday

Some retail outfits began selling the Google Nexus 7 today after ASUS shipped the first batches of the device. Unfortunately, Google has demanded that those retailers stop selling the device, saying that the product is not ready for sale until Sunday, July 15th. Pre-ordered Nexus 7 devices from the Google Play Store will ship within the next week.

I called Google Support and talked to two representives and was told that because I pre-ordered the first day, my order should go out tonight or in the morning.
