Google: Galaxy Nexus Will Be Back in Stores Next Week

Google is assuring customers that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will resume its normal shipping schedule and retake its space on store shelves by next week. After an Apple injunction halted sales this past week, Google has been working on an update that will strip some of the search features from the core operating system which violate Apple patents. The device will still utilize the other new features from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, although we’ve heard the universal Google search will no longer extend to contacts or third-party applications.
