At the I/O Conference, Google has announced the Nexus Q, a device that Google is calling a “social streaming media player.” The device will be able to stream media from Google Play and YouTube to different TVs and speakers. The Nexus Q can be controlled by Android devices running Gingerbread or higher.  The price point for the Nexus Q is $299.99 and will be available in two to three weeks.  For more info, check out the video below.

    Erm, thanks, Google, but no thanks. I have something more powerful- it’s called my soon to be $4000 PC and 8tb of anime i’ve got socked away in them. Throw in a bluetooth headset and a nice projector/50” TV, and i’ve got that beat, thanks.
