Galaxy S and Galaxy S II Sales Reach 50 Million; Galaxy Note Passes 7 Million
Filed under News by Chance Miller on June 1, 2012 at 3:05 PMLike it or not, Samsung is becoming the most popular Android manufacturer. Today, sales figures for the company’s flagship Galaxy S line of devices were released. According to the data, Sammy has surpassed the 50 million unit milestone for the series. The original Galaxy S, which launched in July of 2010, has sold over 24 million devices, while its successor, the Galaxy S II has passed 28 million units in only 13 months. This makes the Galaxy S II the fastest selling device in the company’s history.
Our favorite phone/tablet hybrid, the Galaxy Note, has reached its own selling milestone of 7 million units.
You have to give props to Sammy for continuing to set records even when big, bad Apple is trying cut them off.
