EVO 4G Update Fixes SD Card, Breaks Root

EVO 4G OTA Update
Many EVO 4G pre-launch owners have been speaking out about issues with their SD cards. The problem was caused when the phone had trouble reading and writing from microSD cards. But, Sprint and HTC have sent out an over-the-air update (1.32.651.6) to EVO 4G users to fix the problem and patch other problems. Unfortunately, this update does indeed break the root.
Have no fear! The developers at unrEVOked.com are “holding off on the release to tweak our root method for updated phones. We don’t want to leave half of you out. Getting close.” That’s good news for updaters. So, if it’s really important to you to have a stable microSD, then update away. If not, maybe hold off for a while.
