The Dollar General store is about to become your one stop shop for more than toothpaste, deodorant, and worthless toys. The company announced today that it will begin selling T-Mobile prepaid phones. The phones will be available in 6,400 stores around the nation in July. The stores will allow customers to sign up for Magenta’s $50 unlimited plan, which consists of unlimited talk, text, and 100MB of data. “Dollar General is the nation’s largest small-box retailer and a well-respected company that customers go to when looking to get the most for their money,” said the senior vice president of national accounts for T-Mobile. “This is a natural partnership to help bring Dollar General customers to America’s Largest 4G Network at an incredible value.” The phones will be displayed in a “bright end cap” at the front of the store.
