Dell Streak Available for Free in UK

The Dell Streak, you know that gorgeous tablet-phone mashup headed to AT&T in the states, will be available for free on June 4th at The Carphone Warehouse in the United Kingdom. Of course, this is all assuming you’ve laid down the money and signed up for a brand new voice/data contract. Andrew Harrison, UK CEO of The Carphone Warehouse comments, “The Dell Streak represents the start of a very exciting technological advancement.” And with a 5-inch screen with the un-scratchable, un-breakable gorilla glass, Harrison looks right. This device is an excellent Snapdragon-powered phone with a 5 megapixel rear camera. Plus, a VGA front-facing camera for Skype Mobile. Dell promises a Froyo 2.2 update, as well, touting the flash capabilities. Dell’s Streak is looking more and more appealing every day.
