The first builds of the promised ninth version of the popular after-market firmware distro CyanogenMod are here. Over at various development forums, CyanogenMod 9 is making its way to a couple of devices including the Nexus S and Galaxy S from Samsung.
Of course, these preliminary builds are far from done. Each has a number of bugs, and many of the signature CyanogenMod functions are not ready yet. Having said that, these builds will, in fact, turn in to the eventual CyanogenMod 9 release once finished.
