Apple over weekend started airing its first round of iPhone 5 commercials. And unlike Samsung’s ads, they don’t bash the competition, but focus solely on the iPhone 5. The four ads, which are narrated by Jeff Daniels, are titled Ears, Physics, Cheese, and Thumb. The ads focus on the new EarPod headphones, the new panorama camera feature, the larger 4-inch display, and the thinner, yet bigger, design.
You can check out all of the ads below. What do you think of the ads? Effective or not? Have you picked up a new iPhone 5 yet? Let us know in the comments!

Why did those ads frustrate me (like usually)?
You can’t advertise a 4 inch screen like it is something ingenious when 4 inch screens have been dominating the mobile world for 2 years.
Physics has nothing to do with sizes of objects. And if a phone gets taller, it will easily get skinnier (I’m sure the area is about the same as the iPhone 4S, and that is geometry).
Okay, I do want to try those earbuds…they do look go for low-end stuff.
Panorama is software. Same deal with the whole Siri thing.
Gorgeous phone, solid processor, nice display, LTE. These will sell like crazy. Seems like we do have an S3 competitor but the OS is lightyears behind Android 4.1. For a proper iOS6 vs Android comparison on OS capability, everyone should take a look at the Galaxy Note 2. Android blows iOS out of the water in most every way. As long as iPhone keeps up marginally well with the price/performance hardware on each new iPhone, they can market the uninformed public who haven’t actually spent time with both OS.
I thought about looking at an iPhone 5… Until I realized that my phone that has been out for six months does A LOT more!
Pretty lame commercials…and of course it got thinner! you added all that extra space to spread stuff out instead of stacking it! Come on Apple…You can do better marketing than that…
