Apple took to the stage today for another iPhone unveiling. The first of such events was held in January of 2007. Then, the original iPhone was announced by the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs. With no AppStore in sight, the device clearly dominated its smartphone competition thanks to its capacitive touchscreen technology. Today’s event marks the world’s sixth iPhone unveiling, and the first since Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passed. Tim Cook was in the spotlight today, carrying on the Apple tradition. He’s somewhat modernized the classic Apple CEO look (a la Jobs), with the addition of the collared shirt and tighter jeans than Jobs.

Yawn… Once again, Crapple is playing catch-up and failing. All of these specs might have been impressive if they had been on a mid-2011 phone, but now they’re just hopelessly outdated. No Self-Respecting Android OEM would release a Sub-720p Flagship. The iCrap 5 blowing the S3 out of the water my bumcrack.

    So no NFC after all?

Nice.. i want to buy a smartphone, but some people say’s Apple iphone5 and some say’s Samsung Galaxy s3, i got confused to buy this pls give a clear idea to buy thanks,,,,,

    • Xingster says:

      Galaxy S3, hands down.
I’m considering selling mine simply because my hands are too small and it’s too big for me, but otherwise a really solid phone.

    • Choose for yourself. Go use both phones and see which one is better in your opinion. I only ask that you be objective! Don’t fall flat on your face because it is Apple or because it is Samsung.

Galaxy S3 by far. I’ve had an IPhone 4S and a Galaxy S2 at one time. I used to be a phone technician for a Cricket store that flashed devices to cricket. We also flashed custom,or updated, stock roms. In my opinion IPhones are easier to figure out how to work the basics, but IPhones are locked up so tight that its near impossible to hack/customize/mod in virtually every aspect. If u are even somewhat familiar with smartphone use then go with an Android device. They look much better in stock form than IPhones do,plus u can root Android devices, flash custom rooms, update to new OS’s before they are even released. Not to mention u can remove the battery and u can also still use an sdcard to save ur pics and videos too. Which its nice to be able to save important pics, files, etc,to an sdcard. Bcuz say 1 person has an IPhone and they accidentally break it. Now they’re stuck. They lost all those important pics and files, but if the same person has a Galaxy S2 or S3 and it gets broken,u can still remove the sdcard and 90% of the time everything important to u is still available and can be retrieved,or transferred,to a computer or to a new Android device. Besides I don’t want to buy a phone that’s made in China for about $5,including Chinese labor costs to assemble the phone. Then Apple,an American company, sells it to consumers for $199-$699,depending on carrier and contract renewal.
