Amazon Already Testing Its Smartphone

Rumors of an Amazon smartphone have been around for a while now, but we’ve never known how far along the company was in making the device. The Wall Street Journal reports that Jeff Bezos and company are already testing the device with an Asian component supplier. The report claims that the device will be between four and five inches. It also agrees with the report from Bloomberg last week, which stated that the device would be made by Foxconn and that Amazon is building up a larger patent portfolio to keep up in court.

The Wall Street Journal says that the device could be released as early as this year.
