16GB Nexus 7 Now Sold Out on Google Play

The Nexus 7 appears to be quite the success, at least the 16GB model is. The $249 device is now sold out on Google Play and is listed as “coming soon.” The device is also sold out at most retailers across the nation. The $199 8GB Nexus 7 is still in stock and shipping in 3-5 days. Retailers, however, are not selling the cheaper model.
It’s still unclear if the 16GB Nexus 7 is that much more popular than the 8GB model or if Google and ASUS did not make enough.
